This new extra-long threaded barrel USB is for manufacturers (bars, furniture, walls, dividers) . Power is supplied by a separate QC3 charging base. Unit comes with a separate 3 or 6 foot modular cable. The unit has a Blue LED light glowing around the female USB. Since it is modular, it is easy to service without pulling wires. If the USB becomes damaged or the technology changes, you can change out the barrel.
